Café Delhi, named after capital of India (New Delhi). The classic casual dine-in restaurant started many years ago and still maintains the same quality and customer service.
India has states with unique distinct regional palette. Indian restaurants outside of India don't go much beyond few authentic food items. But there are more than these that can treat the taste buds. Café Delhi strives to bring that regional culinary experience by Connecting Specialty Regional Chefs from India.
Café Delhi is the result of research and Food trials across regional India. Our chef team continue to source information and ingredients from local cooks from different regions of India.
This was the first time I visited here. Normally udipi is my go to place for Indian food. A client recommended cafe Delhi. Blew my mind. Must try!!!
Stopped here for lunch. The staff were extremely courteous and the food arrived quickly. I had the samosa chaat and the lamb vindaloo. The vindaloo was the best I’ve ever had and you could taste the cardamom in it. Will definitely return to this place!
No frills, authentic cuisine. They do not go light on spice, so I highly recommend starting medium if you're not used to intense spice. If you want to be slightly more adventurous than butter chicken or chicken tika masala, I would recommend the chicken korma or aloo mutter
Everything was amazing we ordered 8 different things and it only took about 30 minutes for everything to be all ready to go. Not only was that impressive, but they did it all while serving some larger groups and handling a non-stop phone ringing. Great people and great food.
This is THEE most authentic Indian food your ever going to get in Pittsburgh outside of someone's kitchen. My family and I go at least twice a month! Absolutely Incredible food!
